Chanel day in Stockholm
Today I am showing you my Chanel day in Stockholm. I told you about Maikel in my post from last Wednesday. We have been vlogging (video blogging) a bit in Stockholm and in this video it shows what we did this day. We met Debora as well. It was a lot of fun.
New things
I think it’s a bit scary to see myself on YouTube and in a video here on my blog. As you understand, being a blogger is really different from being a vlogger with video’s. I don’t see myself as a true vlogger actually. So I never really tried. Although Maikel told me to try it out if I wanted and why not? So I’ve put all my doubts aside and I just gave it a shot. Life is too short not to try new things right?
Chanel day
We had a true Chanel day in Stockholm actually. We went to Åhlens, to the make-up, skincare and perfume of Chanel. This Chanel stand is really big and beautiful, so I am showing you a lot about it in the video. Later on we went to Edblad, North Sails, Sephora and the new Chanel boutique. So you could say we had a big Chanel day in Stockholm. Finally I am showing you how the Chanel boutique looks like from the inside. The fitting room is really my favorite spot ha ha.
Your opinion
Blogging and vlogging is something I do for myself. As a hobby, as something I get so much energy from. Some people watch football, some people write blogs. Blogging is something that is truly my passion. I love doing this, I’m a little bit addicted too haha. In the end I do this because I want to and I can’t stop loving it. Your opinion however, as my readers, followers, my family and friends, is really important to me. I don’t want you to love it the same amount as I do, but you can if you feel like that. If you hate it, that’s ok too. I’m not forcing you to watch this or to read this. Do it because you think it’s fun or interesting. Do it because you laugh your ass off when you watch me struggling with some words in English haha. I am human. I make mistakes, who cares?
I appreciate uplifting critics, I can learn from that. I am such an amateur and I have no idea what I am doing, but I just try my best to deliver quality and fun articles or videos. So if you have an opinion, feel free to express yourself in a comment below.
You’re welcome to share my video with your friends. I would really appreciate it. I promise that I will make a second video and who knows, maybe I start falling in love with vlogging even more than with blogging…
So after seeing my video, you know how to have a Chanel day in Stockholm.
I’m off to the city, what are your plans today?
Follow me on my “live vlog” on snapchat (snapsabine).

p.s. Big thanks to Debora & Maikel

3 June 2016 at 11:46Vlogging is the new trend after blogging. Most of bloggers are now being more focused on vlogging as it grabs much more attention than plain text blogs. Your passion is commendable.

3 June 2016 at 19:08Sabine,
Congratulations on your first VLOGS!
Let me say you were amazing. I love the way you did the video, and for first timer, this is really really good and I know with your passion and dedication to excellence, readers can expect better things from you in the future. It is the first time I see you on video, and you do talk like a Dutch. Don’t worry, your accent doesn’t sound strange. Hahaha.
Looking at the shops, yes, those are wonderfully beautiful things at Chanel, North Sail and others and all of them I have no clue about. What I do know is that those things make pretty much every lady happy. 🙂
TGIF… right? The outdoor setting looks perfect! I love outdoor settings and could easily find myself sitting there if I were in Stockholm while you go shopping. I wouldn’t miss the forest for sure too.
Once again, congratulations and keep it up. Regards too, Maikel.

3 June 2016 at 19:58Your enthusiasm is truly infectious, Sabine. The video quality was too good, did you place the camera somewhere or someone was holding it for you?I always feel charged after reading your posts.

3 June 2016 at 23:32I think your vlog is cute! And I didn’t hear you make any English mistakes and I’m a native speaker! I would love to go to that Chanel stand! Chanel perfume is my favorite! But I think it’s funny that you went to TGIFridays! We have lots in the US but I’ve never been!

That is what keeps people coming back and enjoying what you give out into the world because it is all about your passion!

4 June 2016 at 15:43Blogging is one of my hobbies too. I like writing. It’s one of the ways by which I express my thoughts and process my thought and emotions. I have yet to do videos. I’m camera conscious. 😉

4 June 2016 at 16:11Vlogging could be quite challenging than blogging. Both expresses your thoughts, emotions and reactions but somehow vlogging could involve more photography or videography skills. I would like to try vlogging when it comes to my calligraphy practice, it’s just that I dislike seeing myself in front of the camera. Hahaha.

6 June 2016 at 13:25I agree. I dislike seeing myself on video so you could imagine how impressed I am whenever someone posts a vlog.

7 June 2016 at 11:13I really feel awkward but it’s okay for me to appear in a video like a photobomber. Hahaha!

5 June 2016 at 15:44I love the timeless beauty of Chanel. Congrats on venturing into vlogging. The video looks excellent and I like the pace. Not too fast and not too slow. I wish I had the confidence to vlog!

6 June 2016 at 01:35Proficiat and congratulations ! So well done , very professional .Never would anybody guess that this is your first approach in vlogging . Funny word creation btw ? I think , you are very very talented and passionated . I can imagine that vlogging will be the new generation of blogging . People love photos and videos , and how much more enjoyable is watching a good Vlog instead of reading a good Blog. Excellent job .. oops almost forgot about Chanel . Classic and always by my side . No5 ( evergreen ) and Noir are my favourite fragrances. Got a lot Chanel in all forms , only thing I am still longing for is a nice bag ? I so love the 50s – 60s Coco Chanel dresses . Stockholm looks like a very exciting place to live , young spirited … alive !

6 June 2016 at 15:59Blogging as your passion is truly evident in all your posts. You put great effort not only on its content but also working hard for those shoots and the likes. I love reading your blog as they are full of positivism, enough to comfort me when i had a bad day.

6 June 2016 at 18:16I agree with you to totally!! Vlogging is way different than Blogging! I, myself, am not really comfortable speaking in front of the camera so it feels awkward! That’s why I convinced my wife to do it instead when time comes for our website 🙂
You did great Sa Bine! I do think the sun glasses helped you be more at ease in front of cam! Soon enough, this’ll be a breeze!

7 June 2016 at 20:10oh this is so cool.. i have always wanted to try vlogging as well but I have no courage because I’m not that good in speaking in front of the camera and so as expressing my thoughts impromptu haha.. hopefully I could try that someday..
I really enjoyed the video and unlike the typical blog posts.. this feels like I am traveling with you… my sister loves Chanel too!

8 June 2016 at 16:30Yay! Congrats on your first vlog! More please more!!!! It was such a nice video to watch and I need to come to Stockholm ASAP! Haha! One thing that surprised me was how empty the Chanel stands were, had everyone bought everything?? ? I swear in the UK they look untouched as if people are scared to touch the products!! I hope you continue doing these videos as I really enjoyed it and you are a natural!
