Hotspot: Lidingö Stockholm

Lindingö Stockholm

Today is the perfect day to go to this Hotspot: Lidingö in Stockholm! It’s the Swedish National Day, so everyone is off. We went to Lindingö on Saturday because it was such a nice weather. Here they have a great beach, a forest and some places to have a picnic. You can grill here too! We took our dogs Bobby & Pascha for a walk and they had a swim too. Especially Bobby loves to swim!

Blue hotel

The Bleu hotel is in Lidingö and this is the perfect luxury hotel close to the sea and the beach. It’s in the middle of the forest and has a great Spa. You can do a Spa weekend there too! We checked the Spa out and it was really lovely with a big warm pool outside and many sauna’s. They had some rooms for a massage or other treatments. You can attend a breakfast and sauna entrance on Sundays for 650 kronor. You will get breakfast, unlimited fruit, coffee and tea and of course entrance to the spa. I think this is a real nice thing to do. Since we were there on Saturday already, we didn’t feel like going to the spa there again on Sunday. Instead of that, we went to Centralbadet, a spa in the middle of the city centre in Stockholm.

Lidingö stad

Lidingö stad is part of Stockholm. It has great culture and recreation facilities. A lot to do. According to the website of Lidingö:

“Lidingö is home to a library, a theatre, and a wide selection of music, art and other cultural forms. Our seven youth recreation centres are places where young residents can meet.

The city also boasts several nature areas, paths and trails, swimming areas, and sports facilities. There are also many association activities to participate in.”

If you haven’t been in Lidingö and you’re living in Stockholm, then this is a must-see hotspot to reload your battery! If you are planning to visit a city trip to Stockholm, but you would like to have a day in the nature or spa, the Blue hotel is very recommendable.

By the way, my outfit was really easy; just a skirt and blouse from H&M and the slippers from Forever 21. The sunglasses are from Smarteyes. I love the outfit since it’s easy to wear and still looks pretty. I bought it together with my friend Roberta. It was a great day that we had a lot of fun, so it’s also nice to think of those memories. Do you have shopping days with memories?

Let me know what you think of the pictures and if this would be a place you would like to see!

Have a great holiday today (for the Swedish people here), let me know what your plans are…

You took stunning shots as usual 🙂 Anyway, is 650 kronor similar to 650 Swedish Krona? If it is, well, Blue Hotel is unfortunately a tad expensive for someone coming from the Philippines.

For the beach, I don’t think it’s fit for swimming. It’s good for taking portrait shots though. I love how you matched your blouse and skirt. I SUPER love H&M. It’s good thing it has already made its way in our country. I no longer need to go to the abroad like U.S., Dubai, Singapore or etc. just to get new H&M clothes.

As for my plan, our summer has already come to an end. But this weekend, we’ll be attending a Go Play event which we’ll blog after 🙂

The lakes are so beautiful! I love how blue the water is. Plus the water goes with your outfit! And that breakfast at the spa sounds like it would be amazing! I would definitely be interested in Lidingo.

I have a few friends from Sweden and I never fail to be in awe of the gorgeous and diverse landscapes; it seems like a perfect way to enjoy a public holiday!

As usual your outfits are elegant but cute (I would love to raid your wardrobe!) My favourite shopping experience was recently when I was visiting Paris; I stumbled across a second-hand designer shop and bought my first Chanel jacket! Afterwards we visited a quaint little restaurant! Looking forward to more of your work! 🙂

Nice pictures! We are going to Sweden this summer, but we stay in a bungalowpark 4 hours from Stockholm. Maybe we can go here for a day and stay overnight
