People say that when you’re pregnant, you get this healthy glow on your face. The so called “pregnancy glow”. Uhm.., I am sure I am pregnant, but I don’t have this pregnancy glow, where can I buy this?
Phyto Replenish Oil
Dermalogica asked me to review the Photo Replenish Oil. This is a product that is supposed to give me this healthy glow. I was hoping when I would use this, I would find my pregnancy glow! So how did I use it?
1. I cleaned my face using a cleansing foam and I dried my face with a towel.
2. I just took only 4-6 drops from the bottle and I’ve massaged it into the skin of my face.
3. After that I applied some foundation like I always do.
I just wanted to see and experience the effect of this oil only.
My skin is usually pretty dry from the dry cold air now in the winter, here in Stockholm. This oil is fantastic! The oil was fast absorbed and not sticky and didn’t make my foundation go everywhere like some oils do. I could use this oil also in my night routine. The oil has a relaxing perfume, but the scent isn’t too strong. I could recommend this to you if you experience dryness in your face.
So a big plus for me are the plant based ingredients. The oil isn’t oily because of that, but goes direct into my skin. There are no parabens in it. 18+ weeks pregnant
I’m 18+ weeks pregnant this week and I hope this product will help me look healthy and illuminated. Some days I feel very tired and on these days it’s extra important to take care of myself. It’s not always so easy to listen to my body and rest. There are so many nice things to do on a day and I love my work too! Of course blogging is still a big passion and I want to spend time with family, friends, my husband and my dogs. How can I combine all this with being pregnant? Taking an extra nap helps restoring my energy, but takes some time away from the day itself. Thank God, there are some friends coming over to me, so I safe the ‘road trip’ going to the city. That helps a lot! We ordered a cleaning company this week (for the first time!) to spend some hours deep cleaning the house. That was very helpful and gave me extra hours in the week. Next to that, I take a bit shorter walks, longer breaks and try to reduce stress at all times. I must say that the darkness in winter helps too! Usually we watch a lot of movies at night because you can’t sit outside, that’s cosy and nice. Do you have some advice for me?
