Pure Tatts

Let me tell you about Pure Tatts. These are temporary tattoos. Did you ever do that when you were young? I did it a lot and I still loved to put these temporary tattoos.

It’s very simple.

  1. Cut with a scissor a tattoo you like.
  2. Put it against a clean and oil free part of your skin.
  3. Take a wet tissue or a wet sponge and make the backside of the tattoo wet (the paper).
  4. Remove the paper and leave the tattoo on your skin.

Even children can do this and it’s so much fun.

I did some too! One on my shoulder which was tanned already a little bit and the white color of the tattoo pops out more.

Mache and I did a couple tattoo too. You can do this with your best friend or partner for example. And for the mommies; how cool is this to do tattoos with your children. They will stay for 3-4 days and it’s fun to have a symbolic tattoo together.

Mache and I took two butterflies. Butterflies have a symbolic meaning. Since our daughter Féline passed away, we used the butterfly as a symbol to honor her. On her funeral the song “Fly fly little wing” from Céline Dion was played. On a special day or just any day, you can use the tattoos for any purpose.

It can be a fun thing on a birthday party. Or a day on the beach, bring the tattoos, a scissor and a sponge and just have fun. We even gave our dog Bobby a tattoo to be the ambassador of Pure tatts!

Pure tatts donates 10% of every tattoo to charity; Sgt. Pepper’s Friends. It’s actually charity to rescue animals all over the world. So when buying these tatts you’ll be helping animals all over the world. Rachel Brathen or @yoga_girl on instagram is the founder of the non-profit animal organisation on Aruba.

The variety of the Pure tatts is great. I received 6 packages from Pure tatts. They call them;

“White bohemian inspired temporary tattoos”

The six packages have different tattoos inside.
1. Good Karma “The belief that if you do good, good will come to you.”
2. Wanderlust “A strong desire to continually explore all great things life has to offer.”
3. Boho Beach “A free spirited beach with core values including truth, freedom, and love.”
4. Dreamer “One who listens to their heart and just goes for it regardless of what others might think.”
5. Mantra “The vibrational sounds that transport the mind from a state of activity to one of stillness.”
6. Free spirit “A person who lives a uniquely imaginative lifestyle, thrives on their nonconformist attitude, and has awakened their inner spirit animal.”

They have a instagram page full of inpiring pictures with ideas how you can use the temporary tattoos.

Which package suits you best or do you like all of them like me?

Do you have a real tattoo? What is the story behind it?

“Tat up your life with Pure Tatts”

Lots of bohemian inspired love,

Sabine

Those are cute tattoos. And the color is neat. The design or the look is very detailed as well.

I have seen these discussed on a different blog. I like the tiger and the butterfly. The other blogger chose a different set. That’s beautiful that you use the butterfly to symbolize your daughter. My aunt also uses the butterfly to express her feelings for her son who passed away.

We planned a dive to 40 meters once. I said, if I ever get close to a shark (within 1 meter) then I will get a tattoo. So on that dive, we went down. There is a large resident grouper in a small opening on the site so I approach it so near it is like if I extended my hand forward, I could almost touch the large grouper… umm, it was larger than me.

Suddenly, two reef sharks swam up in between us… so after the dive, I went to a shop to get a tattoo of a hammerhead on my back.

Gosh, it has been 16 or so years ago.

Awwwwww this is sooooo cool :) I have one tattoo on my back which admitedly painful. Since I got it on a traditional way. There are times that Im thinking to have more but I have to consider the value of it on my skin. This is a great alternative and it looks so amazing. Would love to check the free spirit collection :)

I don’t have any tattoos but I like the idea of temporary tattoos for a special occasion. I love the picture of you and Mache’s hands! What a beautiful remembrance for your daughter. The white of the temporary tattoos are cool. I have never seen that before but it does look great on a tanned skin!

Cool! I once tried it also and it was awesome! it’s also a good way to know if the tatt looks good on you before making it permanent. Are they shipping world wide? because i would definitely buy!!! 😀 And the fact that they donate part of their earnings to their preferred cause is definitely heart warming.

These are so nice. I usually encounter black temporary tattoos. The white ones are so much more unique and classy. I’d have to be tanned though for it to show up real nice. :)

Cool! I would love to have that Pure Tatts too. Since, I don’t want to have a permanent one. Not only it is really beautiful, it also helps in rescued animals. Great!

even until now, I put temporary tattoos on my body. the recent one was a drawing of birds just like Tris Prior’s from Divergent. These are really beautiful and refreshing since most tattoos I see are colorful or just plain black. i wonder if it looks great on my skin.

I’m no fan of tattoos, but I find the temporary tattoos cute. And I learned something new– just cut a template, then apply a wet tissue, then you’ll have a temporary tattoo. Grannies or parents w/ little girls can use this temporary tattoos to play and strengthen the bond.

I remember covering my arms with temporary tattoos too back when I was a kid too. Though the one we have here Manila looks different from yours. I really like that it looks like white cut outs! It kind of like off sets any background, like how it made your skin looked so tan!

These pure tatts are awesome! I am sure that for those who are still thinking whether should they get a real one or not, this will be a temporary relief for their undecided minds. Just wondering, does it come with differnet colors too?
