Good morning on this lovely Sunday, time for a Sunday Brunch! This time Mache and I went to Grand Hotel in Stockholm. The most fabulous hotel in Stockholm I must say. I am showing you what I wore as well.
Mache and I received a gift card for an experience at Grand Hotel Stockholm for our wedding from our good friends Christa and Pontus. A fabulous gift since we both love this hotel. The wedding is about 7 months ago now and since the baby is almost here, we had to plan in some time together, because this is very precious now we still can. I dressed up as comfortable and beautiful as I could. It’s a bit of a challenge to not be able to wear heals for example. With the right accessories, it will work out just fine.
What I wore:
– Mamma shirt – H&M
– Mamma pants – H&M
– Loafers – Armani
– Coat – Zara
– Clutch – Norjiin
– Earrings & Rings – Moonstone Magic
(Use code MoonChild10 for -10% discount on their website)
– Bracelets – Mc Gregor Jewelry
The Sunday brunch was absolutely delicious, we were very happy we chose this three course brunch. The brunch was on the ‘terrace’ of Cadierbaren (The Cadier Bar), so we had this spectacular view over the streets and water of Stockholm. I call it a Sunday Brunch, but the brunch is also possible on Saturday. They serve a great breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea as well. Don’t forget to dress up smart casual (dresscode). The Bruch is served between 11.00 and 17.00 and you should make a reservation if you want a window seat.
“The bar is named after Régis Cadier, French chef and the founder of the hotel.” – Grand Hotel
Classic Brunch Menu
Assorted bread basket with Danish pastry, croissant, muffin, bread rolls,
cream cheese and preserves
Blini with bleak roe from Kalix, sour cream and onion
Poached eggs on toasted English muffin, hollandaise sauce and ham
Scandinavian Eggs Bénédict
Poached egg on toasted English muffin, hollandaise sauce, smoked salmon and asparagus
Peach Melba Mousse Cake
We ordered both the Eggs Bénédict and the Scandinavian Eggs Bénédict and we shared both dishes. Mache and I agreed that we preferred the Eggs Bénédict, but if you’re very into eating fish, then go for the smoked salmon in the Scandinavian Eggs Bénédict.
I would love to try out on of their afternoon teas and breakfast. We ordered the earl grey tea with the brunch and a fresh orange juice too. I can highly recommend this. The service is absolutely great and they helped me out with the pregnancy, since I can’t eat everything at the moment, they double checked with the kitchen, which was recommended and not. The smoked salmon is something you have to make up yourself if you eat that while being pregnant. Overall, the calm and relax atmosphere, together with the amazing view, the food tasted great and the service was astonishing.
What are your plans for this Sunday?
We are off tomorrow as well, since it’s a red day!
I have been blogging about The Cadier Bar before, read this post about drinks in the bar.
