Time to relax… It’s almost weekend. I wanted to tell you about how I take my time to relax.
What I lately do a lot, since the weather is much better, is taking hikes. I love to walk the dogs together or alone and my favorite place to do that in Stockholm is Vinterviken. This place is gorgeous. It has such a big lake and a real nice restaurant / coffee place called “Winterviken”.
When I walk there at night, when the sun goes down around 20.00 pm, I look a the unbelievably beautiful sunset. This is just breathtaking and it’s a real piece of paradise on earth! I really love to see the red, orange sky and the sun or the moon in the sky. This gives me the time to relax. It completely takes the stress away. We usually walk about 2-3 km.
The dogs love this too. They can run free and wild. They love to play with each other and chase each other. I enjoy when I see them having fun. It gives me so much joy to walk. When I was sick due to my pregnancy, I couldn’t walk for a while. Then I promised to myself; when I can walk again, I will always enjoy my two legs! It’s so true, because to walk, to run and to be free to go wherever you want is just amazing. We should not take our health or the ability to walk for granted. This is something I deeply cherish now. To dance, to smile, to laugh, to be free, to run into the world. Nature and animals always help me to stress down.
Last week when I was in the forest, I saw a squirrel, it was such a cute little thing. So beautiful with the orange brown color. This made me remember my holidays when I was a child. When I used to go to Centerparcs with my parents and brother. There they usually had squirrels.
Sometimes you just need to take the time to relax. Count your blessings. Be happy with what you have. Be grateful with all you own and WALK with your two legs. Run the catwalk or run at night outside. Run into the world… be free.. be you!
How do you take the time to relax? I would love to hear some advices to stress down after a busy week.
