Beauty For Him

TomFord Mandarino Di Amalfi Fragrance

TomFord Mandarino Di Amalfi Fragrance is my new favorite spring item!
Yes, this is spring itself! Let me tell you what it is, that makes this spring colored fragrance a true must-have for me. In three words according to TomFord this fragrance is

EFFERVESCENT. TEXTURED. LUMINOUS.

It makes me taste the Mandarine almost. It’s so fresh and sparkling on my skin. It stays on my skin all day and enjoyed it myself, but people around me appreciated it even more. On my skin there comes a soapy, freshly washed experience together with a fruity fresh spring breeze.

TOMFORD Mandarino Di Amalfi www.sofarsosabine.com spring fragrance beautyThe fragrance is absolutely perfect For Him and Her! On a male skin, I find this fragrance more strong and manly, more fruity and less soapy. You should try it yourself, to see what experience your skin brings forward.

TomFord inspires…

Private blend Mandarino Di Amalfi captures the calm idyll of the whitewashed villas dotting the cliffside of the Amalfi. Citrus fruits waft their aroma with a tonic-like effect, and evening comes on with a warm breeze of night-blooming flowers; the air is scented with mint, thyme and wilflowers.

TomFord designed the bottle of this fragrance like all their stylish fragrances of 50 ml. Square and strong. The gold together with this color blue is luxurious and amazes me. I could take pictures all day. The eau de parfum costs 220 dollar for 50 ml and 535 dollar for 250 ml. You have to love the fragrance as much as I do before buying it. To me it’s worth every dollar. My friend Maikel borrowed me this Tomford beauty, since sharing is caring he says. I was literally on spring holiday for a day.

The ‘private blend‘ fragrance was launched in 2014. It’s a young fragrance, but has the ability to take over the spring 2016 if you ask me.

Amalfi
Amalfi is a city in Italy. Close to the Amalfi coast. It has only 5400 citizens. It’s famous for the production of lemons and the famous drink “Limoncello”. I would love to take the next flight to the airport of Napels and check this city out!

    Sabine,

When I saw your post, it reminded me. I do not have perfume. Should I?

Oh, you can’t ask me that without me telling you; a guy without a perfume is like a dog without it’s bark, a summer without a sun and a candle without it’s light.

Oh I actually love the bottle and its packaging… Yes, i also prefer strong scent perfumes although my sister used to complain about it haha
What I am really looking for a perfume is something with fragrance that lasts for a long period of time!

Oh, the Amalfi Coast, what a beauty! I do remember the beautiful smells from Sorrento, the lemon trees and the sea breeze. I wonder if the perfume smells like that.

I have not tried those yet because I often wear just mists. Perfumes seem a bit pricey for me.

I understand, I love the mists from Victoria Secret as well. But you can always try the Tomford for one day =)

Is this fragrance only for men or is it unisex? I found it quite interesting how you related a perfume post to a future travel post. I missed visiting the Amalfi coast on my trip to Italy, so will look forward to the travel experience on your blog

It reminds me of Neroli Portofino, but in a different way. Just like NP it starts off citrusy and then gets soapy; it’s a different kind of citrus, somehow bitterer than NP.
I agree with what many have said that it smells a lot like citrus peel, yet it’s very good. I agree with TFordAndCreed about the bitterness; it’s probably what keeps this fragrance on the masculine side. As its siblings of the Private Blend line it’s unisex, but leaning on the feminine side.
I find it more playful and young than NP. Also, the bottle’s shade of blue is out of this world 😀
