Vaggaro Combo | Trendy and mobile baby furniture from Sweden

Another ikea baby chair? No way, I wanted something trendy and mobile like the Vaggaro combo! Let me tell you why…

Vaggaro combo

The Vaggaro combo is a combination of the cradle, bouncer and high chair (3 baby furnitures). I was so lucky to try these out and review them for you. Of course the little one isn’t here yet, but hey, are you going to wait until your baby is born and then start to buy the cradle for example? I want everything to be organized perfect before the baby is born. I saw the Vaggaro at my midwife and I had to try this out for myself.

Why is Vaggaro different from the rest? It’s mobile! All the three modules (the cradle, bouncer and high chair) can be packed in one little backpack! So easy for the coming summer. You can fly with it, bring it while camping, or just when visiting a restaurant or friends. How easy! The furniture is super easy to build and break down. Almost only 10 seconds of work. If a pregnant woman like me can do it, anyone can… Okay, I admit, I got some help from their YouTube videos which show you how easy peasy it is to build this up and break it down. Who has time for difficult stuff when you have a baby? I don’t have the patience.

Take a look at the 30 seconds video and see for yourself:

Next to the fact that the products are super practical, they are beautifully designed too! One thing I hate is having cartoons on furniture or “things that children like” or supposed to like. I like childrens stuff, but I like to keep our house a bit elegant too! My Vaggaro combo is a set of three matching colors (but hey, you can choose your own colors, don’t worry). I choose black. But if you like pink or brown, they are available too. The soft brown color is very beautiful too and the pink/purple color is cute for girls right?

The story behind

Vaggaro is owned by two amazing daddy’s (Fredrik and Anders) who decided they were in need of products that didn’t exist yet, like the Vaggaro combo. Fredrik is an award winning engineer and product developer! How promising right? He designed and built the cradle. The Vaggaro products are in my opinion design, a little eye catcher in your house. Next to that, it looks very comfy for the baby. Can’t wait to try it out. You can place the furniture anywhere you like since it’s so light and easy to lift. I can carry it without any effort. So a big plus comparing to the more heavy baby chairs for example. They aren’t foldable and they aren’t easy to move. Besides that, lots of people I know buy certain baby chairs just because they are cheap. But then you have to maybe buy something mobile too. Or always ask for a baby chair in the restaurant, while you can bring your own (clean) chair. I like that a lot!

Looks super handy! And it will sure save you guys some space and money when you don’t need three separate items. 🙂 If I’d be having a baby when living in a small apartment an/or traveling a lot I’ll buy one of these for sure.

Wat een handig systeem is dit ik heb het nog niet eerder gespot. Mijn zus is nu zwanger en dit zou ideaal voor haar zijn omdat ze vaak met haar gezin erop uittrekt.

Hi there! I’m expecting my first child next month (eeek!), and I just came across this product today. I will be traveling a lot with my little one, especially within the first year. What I’d like to know is this: how big can your baby be before sleeping in the cradle is no longer comfortable? The Vaggaro website doesn’t have dimensions listed, and it’s hard to tell the size. Also, can the baby lay flat in the cradle or does it curve with the shape of the fabric? Thanks in advance for any insider tips you can share!

      Hi Hailey.
Congratulations on your baby to come. The size of the cradle is 73cm long and 35 wide. (so about the same size as most stroller carry cots). It is intended for babies from birth to around 6months. The bottom is not rigid so it curves a little bit after the natural shape of the baby and gives a comforting feeling. (It somewhere inbetween a rigid bed and a hammock). Together with the high chair module it is the perfect travel companion. Have a nice day and good luck with everything.
